| About Leave No Child Inside | San Francisco Bay Area
The Bay Area campaign to Leave No Child Inside has a newly formed guiding body called the Children in Nature Collaborative. Hooked On Nature is providing leadership for the collaborative and funding a part-time coordinator through June 2008. Coordinator, Mary Roscoe has a passion and a vision for bringing people together. With her guidance the collaborative will launch a website in December and host public forums to raise awareness of the physical, emotional, and spiritual health benefits of connecting children with nature. Leave No Child Inside Hooked On Nature is providing leadership for this invitation only conference. Coordinator, Mary Hardcastle gathered an impressive planning team with representatives from co-sponsors Parks & People Foundation, YMCA, Waldorf School of Baltimore, Irvine Nature Center, and the Holistic Life Foundation. The Children & Nature Network (C&NN) was created to encourage and support the people and organizations working to reconnect children from all sectors of society with nature.
